QuickTip: Don't miss the red flags!

Keep an eye on your Genealogy for red "<500" flags. Affiliates with this flag next to their information indicates they've generated less than 500 VersaPoints in the last 90 days and are in jeopardy of having their SFI affiliateship canceled at the end of the current month.

Although SFI starts to send notifications about the red flag status to these affiliates beginning on the 15th of each month, there's no substitute for PRO-ACTIVE, personal contact by you, their SFI Sponsor!

Here's a sample letter you could edit and use:

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi Tom,

My Genealogy is indicating that you have less than 500 VersaPoints in the last 60 days. This is less than SFI's Minimum Activity Requirement, so your SFI affiliateship could be canceled at the end of this month.

You are an important member of my team and I'd really hate to lose you! So how can I help? Are there questions I can answer for you? Is there anything I can assist you with?

I'm extremely excited about what SFI is doing. With its new E-Commerce Associates program, for example, the SFI opportunity has just taken a huge leap forward. I'm going to be very active with SFI personally and I would really like to be able to work with you as a key member of my team.

Please drop me a quick e-mail and let me know what I can do to help you get the points you need before the end of the month.

Thank you! I look forward to hearing from you.

Your Name
Your contact information

Business building tip

Experts and successful entrepreneurs agree: a big part of success is in the follow-up. Don't let your initial marketing efforts go to waste. Make an effort to follow up with your PSAs who have not yet confirmed their registration and procured full access to SFI.

At least twice a week, stop by and check your Non-Confirmed PSA Report report. Look for any new names and contact each PSA, advising him or her to log in to the SFI Affiliate Center. They will then see an alert with a link to have a confirmation e-mail re-sent to them--and YOU will add another confirmed affiliate to your team!

SFI Basics on the SFI homepage

Many new SFI affiliates get lost or are overwhelmed by the information outlined on the SFI To-Do List. That's why we've created the "SFI Basics" tab, now the default tab on the SFI's homepage.

The information on "SFI Basics," makes SFI simpler for your incoming affiliates. It explains the three basic parts to SFI (Refer TripleClicks Members, Sponsor Affiliates, Duplicate), essential aspects of the program that new affiliates should understand first.

Be sure you refer your new affiliates to the "SFI Basics" tab. Be ready to answer their questions and help them get a good start building their SFI businesses.

Putting a stop to frequent Affiliate Center log-offs

Are you experiencing frequent log-offs when surfing your SFI Affiliate Center (www.sfimg.com)? Most likely, the issue is a result of security settings on your computer and is easy to fix.

First, a little background: SFI's system requires ONE login per session, set at 45 minutes (an established standard duration for secure sites such as ours). So long as an affiliate does not remain on any one page longer than 45 minutes, he or she will remain logged in to the Affiliate Center indefinitely. NOTE: An infrequent exception (normally less than once a week) is when SFI Administration needs to restart the system.

If you're experiencing frequent log-offs, it is probably due to one of these common causes for failure to access secured SFI pages:

* SSL 2.0 and SSL 3.0 must be checked in your Internet options. In Internet Explorer, you can access these settings via the Tools menu, then Internet Options and the Advanced tab.

* Firewall programs, especially Norton, frequently block access to SFI's secure pages. If you are running a firewall on your computer, check the program's settings to ensure SFI pages are allowed.

* If you have disabled third-party cookies in your browser, you must specify in the cookie settings/permissions to allow www.sfimg.com.

Marketing Index Tip

The recently overhauled Marketing index at the SFI Affiliate Center helps you find the marketing methods and aids you and your team members want. Look for "Mktg" (replacing "R&S") in the main menu. The Marketing index organizes Marketing Methods and Marketing Aids into categories for Referring Members, Sponsoring Affiliates, and EyeEarn, as well as the E-Commerce Associates (ECA) and ClickBucks Supplemental Income Programs.

As part of the re-organization, EyeEarn marketing aids and methods are now separated from the Refer and Sponsor marketing sections. This change lets affiliates interested in using EyeEarn to simultaneously sponsor affiliates and refer TripleClicks members easily find only the EyeEarn aids and methods they're looking for. Note: Though encouraged, participation in the EyeEarn Co-op is NOT required to use EyeEarn marketing aids.

QUICKTIP: Professionalism Matters

An image of professionalism is vital no matter what type of business you own. By posting your photo at the SFI Affiliate Center, that professionalism is on display for your sponsored affiliates logging into the Affiliate Center. Consequently, using icons or pictures of pets, children, and others may only serve to distract from your business image.

That's why we at SFI strongly recommend you use a nice, clear photograph of you for display to your sponsored affiliates. In this way, you can begin to build a business relationship with your affiliates, and they can see that a real person awaits to help them build their businesses.

NOTE: To ensure your picture appears clearly and correctly on the SFI Affiliate Center, check out the helpful tips in this article explaining exactly how to crop and re-size your photos.

Stay connected with SFI Instant Messaging

Use SFI's built-in instant messaging to communicate in real time with both upline and downline members right from within the SFI Affiliate Center.

To use SFIM, just look for the "yellow SFIM bubbles." That is, on your Genealogy, on My Movers, on Affiliate Manager pages, and on your Upline Team page, you'll see a small bubble icon. If it's gray, that indicates the person is not online at the Affiliate Center. If the bubble is YELLOW, however, that means they ARE online currently and you can initiate an online conversation with them instantly.

Initiating a conversion is super simple. Just click on the yellow bubble!

On their end, a pulsating "SFIM" icon will appear in the header (of the Affiliate Center). Clicking on this icon will allow them to proceed to a live instant messaging conversation with you if they wish to.

Here are four tips for using SFIM:

1.
The easiest way to see who's online right now is to go to your genealogy and choose the "Online" filter. Select Online = Yes, then click the "filter" button and you'll see a listing of everyone in your downline who is currently online at the Affiliate Center. You can now initiate conversations by clicking the yellow bubbles beside their names. If no names appear, this means no one in your downline is currently visiting the Affiliate Center, but you can of course try again later.

2. If you're chatting with a person who's primary language is different than your own, keep Google Translate open in a another window browser so you can cut and paste text as needed to translate your conversation.

3. Just as this article emphasizes, when you're initiating contact with downline members, focus on how you can help them. Use SFIM to support and assist your downline and you will build a stronger, more profitable group.

4. If you see the yellow bubble beside your sponsor's name in the top right corner of the header at the Affiliate Center, this indicates your sponsor is online currently. Click the yellow bubble to initiate a conversation with your sponsor.

Tips for uploading your photo at the SFI Affiliate Center

Adding your photo to the Affiliate Center is a great way to ensure your new affiliates are greeted by not just your name but also a friendly face...YOURS! Your picture personalizes SFI for your new affiliates and lets them know that their sponsor is a real person. Consequently, SFI strongly encourages all affiliates to add their photos to their accounts.

But having a stretched or bad photograph of yourself can give a negative impression to your new affiliates. To ensure your picture appears clearly and correctly on the SFI Affiliate Center, check out the helpful tips in this article explaining exactly how to crop and re-size your photos.

Genealogy tip...

You can easily find information and e-mail addresses of all your personally sponsored and co-sponsored affiliates in your Genealogy report. Just select the Communications format. Click an individual e-mail address to send a message to a specific person, or "Send an e-mail/team mail to this group" link to send a group message (i.e., newsletter, announcement, etc).

Also, keep in mind that numerous formats, sorts, and filters are available in your Genealogy to display all kinds of details about your team members. Check them all out!
